Create a new document

The CAD dataset you want to use must have been uploaded to Autodesk 360 prior to this process.

1. In the toolbar, click New. A Storyboard and the first Snapshot are created.

2. The Insert command is started automatically and the Open dialog box displays.

3. Navigate to and select the dataset you want to insert.

   NoteThis Technology Preview supports Inventor IPT and IAM, Fusion DWG, 123D DWG, and DWF formats. A sample of each format is provided in the Portal, see Resources CAD Data.

Once a dataset is inserted you can begin to develop your storyboard concept and populate it with snapshots. Then, use the Components tools to move individual components, explode an assembly at all levels, or explode at a single level.
