Personal Tasks Fields

    The following tables contain the Personal Tasks field descriptions.

    Location: Personal Task Log

    Field Description

    Due

    The date on which the task is due to be completed.

    Owner (Task)

    The contact who owns the task.

    Priority

    The priority of the task as defined by the task owner. This value is derived from the Task Priority Lookup Table.

    Project

    Project associated with the task.

    This is captured for personal tasks. Creating a Personal Task with an associated project will create a Project Task.

    Responsible

    Filter by the person who is responsible for the task.

    • All: Display all active tasks assigned to all for all the statuses except Completed and Closed.
    • Me: Displays the active tasks only assigned to the currently logged in user.
    • Others: Displays the active tasks assigned to users other than the currently signed in user.

    Show Closed

    Select this checkbox to include the closed Personal Tasks on the log.

    Show Completed

    Select this checkbox to include the completed Project Tasks on the log.

    Show Voided

    Select this checkbox to include the voided Project Tasks on the log.

    Status

    The status of the task. Closed/completed tasks do not display on the log by default.

    Subject

    A short description of the task.

    Task Owner

    Filters by the Task Owner.

    • All: Display all active tasks owned by anyone for all the statuses except Completed and Closed.
    • Me: Displays the active tasks owned by the currently logged in user.
    • Others: Displays the active tasks owned by users other than the currently signed in user.

    Field Description

    General Tab

    Accepted

    The date on which the task was accepted.

    Category

    The category of the task. This value is derived from the Task Category Lookup Table.

    Example: Project Management

    Completed

    The date on which the task is marked complete.

    Confidential

    If the Confidential checkbox is selected, the task will only display on your Tasks list and on the Tasks log of the Responsible contact.

    If the Confidential checkbox is not selected and a project is selected, the task displays on the Project Calendar, your Tasks log, and the “Responsible” Tasks log.

    Contacts/Notify

    Enables you to select a contact from the database as a point of reference.

    If the Notify checkbox is selected, the contact will be notified.

    Click the Quick Add button to type a string of characters and then click Add. The system displays the exact match, if found. If no exact match is found, the standard contact dialog displays so you can select from the matches that were found, or enter additional search criteria.

    Create Identical Tasks (for Contacts)

    Enables you to create identical task for selected contacts assigned as Responsible.

    Create Identical Tasks (for Projects)

    References the Project; the task will populate the Project Tasks log upon clicking Save when creating a new task.

    Click the Quick Add button to type a string of characters and then click Add. The system displays the exact match, if found. If no exact match is found, the standard contact dialog displays so you can select from the matches that were found, or enter additional search criteria.

    Created By

    The user who created the task.

    Date Due

    The date on which the task is due to be completed.

    Details

    Details about the task.

    Last Modified By

    The user who last modified the task.

    Linked Documents

    Link any supporting documents for a project task.

    Notes Log

    Any detailed notes about the task can be entered in the Current Notes field.

    Notify me when the Task is complete

    Select this checkbox to notify the currently logged in user when the task is complete.

    Originating Document

    Document that was processed into a task.

    Outcome

    The outcome of the task.

    Priority

    The priority of the task as defined by the task owner. This value is derived from the Task Priority Lookup Table.

    Project

    The name of the project associated with the task.

    Responsible/Notify

    The contact to whom the task is assigned. This field requires an entry. Select the Notify checkbox to notify the selected contact through message or email once you click the Save button.

    Start

    The date on which the task is to start.

    State

    The state of the task. Active or Void.

    Status

    The status of the task.

    Closed/completed tasks are not displayed on the log by default.

    Subject

    A short description of the task. It is important to enter a subject because you will be able to filter on it later.

    Task Owner/Notify

    Enables you to select a contact as the “Owner” of the task. Select the Notify checkbox to notify the selected contact through message or email once you click the Save button.

    Time Due

    The time on which the task is due to be completed.

    Type

    The type of the task. This value is derived from the Task Type Lookup Table (for example, “To Do”).

    View Options

    The view options determine the items that are displayed on the system template. They can be pre-selected and locked in Module Customization for CCOs.

    Referencing Docs Tab

    Description

    The account of the document.

    Doc No.

    The number of the document.

    Doc Status

    The status of the document. (for example, pending, approved).

    Doc Type

    A client defined list in the Lookup Tables of the documents.

    Item

    The item associated with the document.

    Reference Data

    The date on which the documents were linked to each other. Reference Type

    Reference Type

    Source or Destination.

    Referenced By

    The name oft the user who created the relationship between the documents.
