Personal Calls Fields

    The following table contains the Personal Calls field descriptions.

    FieldDescription

    Date

    The date on which the call record was made. Select the Clock button and choose the date of the call.

    Details

    Details of the call's subject.

    Follow-Up By

    Optionally, select a date by which you want to follow up on the phone call.

    If you select a date here, the call record line item in the log is highlighted in light orange until a date is selected for the Resolved date.

    If the Follow-Up By date is before the current date, then a flag displays in the log next to the call entry until the Resolved date is entered.

    From

    The contact who placed the call. See Select the contacts.

    Project

    The project associated with the call. Optionally, Select a project to associate with the call. By doing so, the call record displays in the Project Calls log.

    Resolved

    The date on which the Follow-Up of the call was resolved.

    Show Voided

    Select this checkbox to display the voided as well as the active call records.

    Show Calls From Me

    Select this checkbox to filter the log displaying only records of Outgoing Calls made by you.

    Show Calls To Me

    Select this checkbox to filter the log displaying only records of Incoming Calls made to you.

    State

    The state of the call record:

    • Draft
    • Active
    • Locked
    • Void

    Status

    The status of the call. This value is derived from the Call Lookup Table in MaintenanceData Maintenance Module Setup.

    Subject

    The subject of the call.

    Calls associated with a project and calls marked as confidential only display for users with Administrator permission or the record's author in the Project Calls module.

    Time

    Select the calendar button and choose the time of the call.

    To

    The contact who received the call. Select the contacts to whom you placed the call.

    Notify: Select this checkbox tp send a notification of the call record to the recipient's Inbox. Users can only be notified of Active and Locked call records.

    Incoming Call: Select this radio button to move the contact name(s) from the To field to the From field.

    View Options

    Enables you to define the layout of the call entry record.
