Attaching an Alternate

    To attach an alternate:

    1. Navigate to: Bid ManagementAlternates.
    2. Select the appropriate Project.
    3. Select the Alternate you want to attach.
    4. Click Attach.
      • The Attach Alternate window opens.

    5. Create an attachment or add the selected Alternate to an existing attachment per the following steps.

    Create a New Attachment

    To create an attachment:

    1. Select Create a new Attachment.
    2. Click Save.
      • The Create New Attachment window opens.
    3. Fill out the appropriate information on the form.
    4. Click Select to select the documents to link from the Primary Item Linked Documents field.
      • The document selection pop-up window opens.
    5. Select the Document Type from the drop-down.
    6. Select the appropriate documents.
      • Repeat Steps 5 and 6 until you finish adding all documents.
    7. Click Close.
      • The document selection pop-up window closes.
    8. Select the Recipients.
    9. Click Save/Close.

    Add an Alternate to an Existing Attachment

    To add an alternate to an existing attachment:

    1. Select Add the Alternate to existing Attachment.
    2. Select a project attachment listed in the log or filter to locate an Attachment.
    3. Click Save.
