Module Customization for Event Letters

    Module customization enables you to set defaults and set up workflow routing, where applicable, for the Event Letters business processes. There are two types of defaults:

    • Client level defaults are set in MaintenanceData MaintenanceModule Customization.
    • Project level defaults are set by selecting the Customize button within the Module.

    Available customization choices at the Project level are similar to the Client level, with a few exceptions.

    General

    Attributes

    Establish default Event Letters attributes as described in the following table.

    AttributeDescription

    Body

    Establishes a default text to be displayed in the body of the Event Letter.

    Correspondence State

    Defines a default value for the state of the correspondence.

    Description

    Defines a default description for the Event Letter.

    Frequency

    Defines a default value for the frequency the Event Letters are being run.

    From

    Defines a default value for the contact who sent the Event Letter.

    Next Issue Date

    Defines a default value for the date on which the next Event Letter is issued.

    Notes

    Enables you to enter a default text for the Notes field as it is to display on the Event Letter.

    Notify Distribution List

    Defines select contacts to be notified of the Event Letter's Distribution.

    Notify Recipients

    Defines that the recipients of the Drawing are notified by default.

    Subject

    Defines a default text for the subject of the Event Letter. Type Allows you to define a default document template for the Event Letter.

    TypeDefines a default document template for the Event Letter.

    View Options

    Establish whether to display Standard Options (such as, Comments, Distribution, and Linked Documents), as well as Header Options (such as, Fax and Phone numbers) on the printed Event Letter. In addition, if your company is using custom fields, you can set the View Options to View All or Hide All custom fields.
