    The following table contains the Permits field descriptions, along with the location in which the fields appear in the module.

    The date on which the permit becomes inactive. All refunds have been received.

    Custom Field Contact The custom contact for the Permit.

    Click the Quick Add button to type a string of characters and then click Add. The system displays the exact match, if found. If there is no exact match, the standard contact dialog displays so you can select from the matches that were found, or enter additional search criteria.

    Description

    The description of the permit.

    The date on which the Permit is expected to be issued.

    The dollar amount of the expected refund of the bond.

    The date on which the One Call expires.

    A default time span between “Active” and “Expires” that you can define in Module Customization. The default is 7 days.

    The dollar amount for the license fee.

    Inspectors

    Opens the Contact Select pop-up window. Inspectors are contacts who inspect the work in the field to be sure it is being carried out in accordance with codes and regulations.

    Click the Quick Add button to type a string of characters and then click Add. The system displays the exact match, if found. If there is no exact match, the standard contact dialog displays so you can select from the matches found, or enter additional search criteria.

    Issued

    The date on which the permit was issued.

    Item No.

    The line item number of the One Call Item.

    One Call Items tab

    Linked Documents

    Any documents that are attached to this Permit.

    These values are defined in the project-specific One Call Status Lookup Table.

    The number of the Permit. The system generates this number based on the numbering system established for the project as defined in Module Customization:

    • Auto-Number, Auto Suggest, Auto Suggest Next Whole Number, and Manual.
    • Auto-suggest suggests the next Permit number based on the number of records, including Void records.
    • Auto-Suggest next whole number suggests the next Permit number based on the maximum Permit number, excluding Void records, and other items like decimals in the number.

    The One Call List lists Call Centers by state with their phone numbers. Constructware maintains this list. A nationwide 811 telephone number is available for selection in the drop-down box.

    Reviewers

    Opens the Contact Select pop-up window. Reviewers are contacts who review the plans and specifications submitted by the applicant to receive the permit. They ultimately approve the issuance of the permit.

    The state of the Permit (Active or Void).
