The following table contains descriptions of the RFIs icons.
Location: Main Log
| Icon | Description |
|---|
| Enables you to view linked documents. |
| Indicates that the document is a draft. This action marks the RFI as preliminary, and makes it only accessible by users with Change or Administrator permission, or the From or Created By user on the document. It allows the entering of the RFI information into the system, but does not release it until it has been reviewed and approved for release. To release a Draft RFI, edit the RFI and change the status to Active. |
| Indicates that the document is active. You can modify and respond to the RFI. |
| Indicates that the document is locked. This permanently locks an RFI. You cannot edit locked RFIs. If there is a response, the response is locked also. Locked RFIs cannot be unlocked, but new versions can be created. This preserves the RFI for record keeping purposes. |
| Indicates that the document is void. This provides a way to remove unwanted RFIs from the log, reports, and other portions of Constructware. Voided RFIs are, by default, not shown in the log, but you can access them by selecting the Show Voided checkbox at the top of the log. You cannot delete voided RFIs, and you cannot reclaim their RFI numbers. This enforces strict accountability of all RFIs and RFI numbers. Only users with Administrator permission, or the From and Created By user of the document can void the RFI. |
| Indicates that this RFI is overdue based on the Response Required By date having passed and no Primary Response entered. |
| Indicates that the Primary Responder has responded to the document. The column displays if there is at least one response to the RFI. |
| Displays if the RFI has received at least one response (Primary or Other). - One-Person icon: Indicates that the Primary Responder entered a response.
- Three-Person icon: Indicates that any Responders other than the Primary Responder have entered a response.
Users with Respond permission to RFIs will only see the records to or from their company. Clicking these icons launches the Respond pop-up. |
| Displays if the RFI has a Resolved Date entered through the Resolve pop-up. Clicking this icon launches the Resolve pop-up. |
| Displays the latest version of the document. The version icon opens the RFI history pop-up window. |
| Displays only if comments are associated with the RFI. Clicking this icon opens the Comments pop-up window that allows you to view past comments and enter new ones. |
