No headersOften items in a submittal package return marked Rejected or Revise and Resubmit. When you resubmit these items, the tracking process starts again. Constructware allows you to chose whether to resubmit rejected or revised items in the same package or in a new one. You can revise a Package only by revising one of its items.
To revise a submittal:
- Navigate to: Document Management
Submittals. - Select your project from the Favorite Projects drop-down menu.
- Click the Packages tab.
- Optionally, click the Items tab. (Items must be in a package to be tracked).
- Click the radio button that corresponds to the submittal package you want to review.
- Click Tracking.
- If using the Tabbed Tracking screen, click the Reviewers tab.
- If using the Grid Tracking screen, click the Tracking tab.
- Select the Submittal Items you want to revise.
- Click Revise.
- Click the radio button that corresponds to the appropriate option:

Leave in Current Package | Items remain in the same package, however, a new revision of the item is created. |
Place in Package Revision | Revised Items are placed in an existing package revision or, optionally, a new package revision. All Package attributes are copied forward to the Package Revision except the Notes and Linked Documents. The revised items are placed into the destination package. All Item attributes are copied forward to the Item Revision except Tracking data. |
Remove from Package | A new item revision is created and is removed from the package. The previous revision remains in the Package. All Item attributes are copied forward to the Item Revision except Tracking data. |
Place in New package | A new item revision and a new package are created. All attributes are copied forward to the destination package except the Notes and Linked Documents. All Item attributes are copied forward to the Item Revision except Tracking data. |
- Click Save/Close.
