No headersConstructware allows you to remove Items from a Submittal Package if, for example, the Items are to be reviewed at a later time. If a multi-item package comes back from reviewers with five approved Items and three outstanding Items yet to be completed, this feature allows you to close the five Items and generate a new Package for the remaining three Items.
Although Constructware generates a new Package, the previous tracking dates and information remain with the Items after the split (if they move to a Package).
To split a submittal:
- Navigate to: Document Management
Submittals. - Select your project from the Favorite Projects drop-down menu.
- Click the Packages tab.
- Optionally, select the Items tab. (Items must be in a Package to be tracked).
- Click the radio button that corresponds to the submittal package you want to review.
- Click Tracking.
- If you are using the Tabbed Tracking screen, click the Reviewers tab.
- If you are using the Grid Tracking screen, click the Tracking tab.
- Select the items you want to split from this package.
- Click Split.
- Click the radio button that corresponds to the appropriate option:
