Establish the numbering format for your Master Agreement.
Attributes
Establish defaults for Master Agreements attributes as described in the following table.

Only users with Change or better permission to the Module Customization module can change the Masking and Labeling settings.

| Accessible By | Indicates the division that has permission to access the Master Agreement. If the client does not use divisions, this selection will not be visible. Your Constructware Administrator can modify this list in Maintenance Divisions. |
| Action Required | Contact who is next to act on document. |
| Created By | The name of the user who created the Master Agreement. |
| CSI Code | Allows you to view the CSI Code defined for the Master Agreement. Your Constructware Administrator can modify this list in Maintenance Data Maintenance Standard CSI Codes. |
| Date Created | The creation date of the Master Agreement. |
| Description | The description of the Master Agreement. |
| Effective Date | The date on which the Master Agreement goes into effect. |
| Expiration Date | The date on which the Master Agreement expires. |
| From (Company) | The name of the company that is creating the Master Agreement. Contracts and Purchase Orders also use the “Signed by Company.” |
| From (Company Address) | The address of the company that is creating the Master Agreement. |
| From (Sgned By) | The From company contact who signed the Master Agreement. |
| From Responsible | Contacts with the From Company who are accountable for the document. |
| From Signed by Date | The date on which the “From Signed” contact signed the Master Agreement. |
| Last Modified By | The name and date the last user saved changes to the Master Agreement. |
| Max. Aggregate Amt. | The maximum amount for which all Contracts/POs using the Master Agreement can be written. Info symbol: “For information only. This field does not interact with the Contract or PO module.” |
| Max. Amt. Per Document | The maximum amount for which any Contract/PO using the Master Agreement can be written. Info symbol: “For information only. This field does not interact with the Contract or PO module.” |
| No. | The Master Agreement number. |
| Notes | Enter any notes regarding this grouping of items. |
| State | The state of the Master Agreement can be: - Draft - The Master Agreement is being drafted and will not have full functionality throughout the Master Agreement.
- Active - This is a live production document with full functionality.
- Locked - The Master Agreement is locked with only the two Signed By Dates and Notes fields editable.
- Void - The Master Agreement cannot be used.

| Status | A user-defined list containing the status of the agreement, for example: Open, Final, Negotiating, Out for Signatures, Ready for Signatures, Under Review. Your Constructware Administrator can modify this list in Maintenance Data Maintenance Module Customization. |
| Status Changed By | The person who changed the status of the Master Agreement. |
| Status Changed Date | The date on which the status was changed. |
| To (Company) | The Master Agreement is written to this company. |
| To (Company Address) | The address of the company that will receive the Master Agreement. |
| To (Signed By) | The “To” company contact who signed the Master Agreement. |
| To Responsible | Contacts with the To Company who are accountable for the document. |
| To Signed By Date | The date the document was signed by the “To Signed” contact. |
| Type | A user-defined list containing the type of agreement (for example, Bond, Contract, Insurance, Vendor/Supplier). Your Constructware Administrator can modify this list in Maintenance Data Maintenance Lookup Tables. |
| Uploaded File | Attached file that represents the physical document. |
View Options
Establish whether to display Header Options (such as Document Date, Fax, and Phone numbers) and Standard Options (such as, Comments and Distribution). Also, you can establish to display other Options (such as, Exhibits, From, Aggregate Amt, and so on). In addition, if your company is using custom fields, you can set the View Options to View All or Hide All custom fields. You can also control whether the revision history displays in the View option.
Masking
Allows you to hide or make certain attributes read only.
Labels
Allows you to re-label a standard Constructware attribute to meet your business terminology.
