Cost Items Tabs

    Cost Items contains the following tabs:

    General Tab

    On the General tab, you can enter general information when you are adding or editing a Cost Item.

    Ledger Tab

    On the Ledger tab, you can see the current transactions in the Cost Ledger. These transactions are a result of Rules set up in the Ledger Template being used for the current project, based on the Status of the Cost Item.

    Only Cost Items associated with Budget Codes have Ledger Transactions.

    Referencing Docs Tab

    Displays all Cost Management documents directly related to the Cost Item (such as Source/Destination relationships) created through the Process Wizard and Parent documents where the Cost Item is an Item or Markup on the document. For Tracking Items, the Parent Cost Item also displays.
