The RFQ (Request for Quote) module in Constructware records and tracks requests for contractors and suppliers to price changes on the project. Additionally, you can enter the quoted cost in the RFQ so the Cost Event or other change document is automatically updated with the cost.

RFQs are company-specific because a particular RFQ is addressed to a particular contractor or vendor. An RFQ log report tracks the outstanding RFQs and ensures that costs are gathered in a timely manner.

Rows displaying in orange on the RFQs reports indicate late RFQs, serving as an alert that action is needed.

Unreturned RFQs display in orange in the log view. A flag in the row identifies late RFQs, serving as an alert that action is needed.
