    The following table contains the RFQs field descriptions.

    Attached Items

    Other documents connected to this document in an attachment, where the current document is the lead.

    No.

    The number of the RFQ. The system generates this number based on the numbering system you established for the project in Module Customization:

    • Auto-Number, Auto Suggest, Auto Suggest Next Whole Number, and Manual.
    • Auto-suggest suggests the next RFQ number based on the number of records, including Void records.
    • Auto-Suggest next whole number suggests the next RFQ number based on the maximum RFQ number, excluding Void records and other items, like decimals in the number.

    Category

    A client defined list in the Lookup Tables per document.

    CI No.

    The document number of the cost item.

    Contact

    The name of the contact person for the company that is associated with the cost item. The format of this field is Last, First (Company).

    Date

    The date of the document.

    Description

    The brief account of the document.

    Disclaimer

    The proviso associated with the document.

    Document Template

    The Word template used when viewing or printing the document.

    From

    Select the contact (and company) that document is from.

    Click the Quick Add button to type a string of characters and then click Add. The system displays the exact match, if found. If there is no exact match, the standard contact dialog displays so you can select from the matches found, or enter additional search criteria.

    Funded By

    The contact that is paying for the RFQ.

    Item

    The line item number.

    Long Description

    The detailed account of the document.

    Notes

    Notes, normally intended for internal use, associated with the document.

    Proposed

    The proposed cost.

    Ref No.

    The reference number associated with the RFQ.

    Response Date

    The date the quote is needed.

    Returned Date

    The date the quote was returned.

    Scope of Work

    The description of the entire extent of the work necessary.

    Status

    The status (for example, approved, pending approval, and so on) of the document.

    To

    Referencing Docs Tab

    Description

    The account of the document.

    Doc No.

    The number of the document.

    Doc Status

    The status of the document. (for example, pending, approved).

    Doc Type

    A client defined list in the Lookup Tables of the documents.

    Item

    The item associated with the document.

    Reference Date

    The date on which the documents were linked to each other.

    Reference Type

    Source or Destination.

    Referenced By

    The name oft the user who created the relationship between the documents.
