Owner RFP (ORFP)

    Owner Request for Proposal (Owner RFP) is an owner-initiated document requesting a price on a particular change. Usually, the owner requests pricing before approving an Owner Change Order (OCO). It is a formal document that is used to request a price quote from the prime contractor.

    The owner requests a price quote, the prime contractor requests pricing from their contractors, respond to the ORFP and the Owner approves the ORFP usually by creating and approving an Owner Change Order. With the appropriate permissions, the features of this module are:

    • Manage work flow: send, edit, distribute, and respond.
    • Notify individuals of the ORFP.
    • Compare the estimate, the amount returned and the amount approved by the owner.
    • Distribute to selected individuals or create groups in order to distribute documents effectively.
    • Capture notes on the progress of the negotiations
