Bonds
In Constructware, bonds are received from specific companies. Multiple bonds can be assigned to a single company.
There are different types of bonds, including Letter of Credit, Joint Check Agreement, and Payment and Performance. Additional bond types can be added, modified, or deleted by a Constructware Administrator. The type of bond is selected when creating the bond. You can change the type of bond when editing the bond.
Bonds are purchased from bond companies. Any user that has permission to the Lookup Tables module in the Maintenance/Data Maintenance folder can add, modify, or delete bond companies.
Constructware stores information about each bond, including the bond amount, expiration date, and bond status.
