In Constructware, Insurance policies are assigned to specific contracts. Multiple policies can be assigned to a single project. This information is organized in a log and can be used to create a variety of reports.

There are different types of insurance policies; examples include General Liability, Worker's Compensation, and Automobile. A Constructware Administrator can add, modify, or delete insurance types in the Lookup Tables module by a Constructware Administrator. All existing insurance types display when creating or modifying the insurance policies for a specific contract.

Insurance policies are purchased from Insurance companies. A Constructware Adminsitrator can add, modify, or delete insurance companies in the Lookup Tables module by a Constructware Administrator.

Constructware stores information about each insurance policy, including the policy limit, expiration date and policy number. Also in Constructware, Additional Insureds are companies that are added to an insurance policy on an insurance certificate. Constructware stores information about the additional insured's project role.
