Module customization enables you to set defaults and set up workflow routing, where applicable, for the Personal Tasks business processes. Client level defaults are set in Maintenance

Available customization choices at the Project level are similar to the Client level, with a few exceptions.

General
Establish the numbering format for your Personal Tasks.
Attributes
Establish defaults for Personal Tasks attributes as described in the following table.
Only users with Change or better permission to the Module Customization module can change the Masking and Labeling settings.

Always Send messages to Task Owner when Task is accepted | Sends a message to the Task Owner when the Responsible contact accepts the task. |
Always Send messages to Task Owner when Task is completed | Sends a message to the Task Owner when the Responsible contact completes the task. |
Always Send messages to Task Owner when Task is rejected | Sends a message to the Task Owner when the Responsible contact rejects the task. |
Category | Defines a default value to be selected in the drop-down box for the Task Category. |
Completed | Defines a default date on which the task is completed. Example: Current Date + 2 |
Confidential | Defines whether the Confidential checkbox is to be marked by default. |
| Contacts | Allows to you select a contact from the database as a point of reference. |
| Create Identical Tasks for (Contacts) | Allows you to create an identical task for selected contacts assigned as “Responsible.” |
Create Identical Tasks for (Users) | Defines one or more contacts to be selected by default as recipients of identical tasks to the one you are creating for the "responsible" contact. |
Details | Defines a default text to be displayed in the Details field of the task. |
Due | Defines a default value for the date on which the task is to be completed. Example: Current Date + 5 |
| Notify me when Task is complete | Marking this checkbox notifies the currently logged in user when the task is complete. |
| Originating Document | Document that was processed into a task. |
Outcome | Defines a default text to be displayed in the Outcome field of the task. |
Priority | Defines a default value to be selected from the Priority drop-down box. |
Responsible | Defines a default contact to be selected from the Contact Select for the Responsible list box. |
Start | Defines a default value for the date on which activity for the task is started. Example: Current Date. |
| Status | The status of the task. Closed/completed tasks are not displayed on the log by default. |
Subject | Defines a default text to be displayed in the Subject field of the task. |
Task Owner | Defines a default contact to be displayed in the Owner field. |
Time Due | Defines a default time. |
Type | Defines a default value to be selected for the Type of the task. |
View Options
Establish whether to display Standard Options (such as, Distribution and Linked Documents) as well as Contacts on the printed Project Task. In addition, if your company is using custom fields, you can set the View Options to View All or Hide All custom fields.
Masking
Allows you to hide or make certain attributes read only.
Labels
Allows you to re-label a standard Constructware attribute to meet your business terminology.
