Personal Organizer Features

    The following table contains the Personal Organizer product features.

    Feature Purpose

    CW Desktop

    The Constructware Desktop (CW Desktop) is available as the default page you see when you log into Constructware. You have the option of choosing the Today tab, the Dashboard tab or the Recent tab as your default tab, assuming you have permission to the Dashboard.

    Messaging Inbox

    Log of all messages addressed to you. Messages can be viewed and replied. These messages can be sent by another user or may be auto-generated (for example, Notification of RFIs, submittals, etc). Messages cannot be deleted, only inactivated for filtering purposes.

    Personal Tasks

    A place to enter tasks such as to-do's, events, and appointments. In addition, if you are invited to attend a meeting, the task is added to your task list. These tasks can be related to a project and/or contact, but do not have to be.

    Notices

    Log of notices that provide information to you regarding development enhancements to the product.

    Personal Calls

    Record of phone call conversations entered into the system. Calls can be associated with projects that have been entered in the Constructware database. See Project Calls for more information.

    User Info

    Area to update personal information such as change your password, set your default start screen, set up alternate email accounts, upload an image of your signature, and view your permissions.

    Personal Outbox

    The Personal Outbox lists any messages, email or faxes you sent within or from Constructware using the Send Wizard or a notification function.

    Approval Documents

    Only seen if the site is utilizing Routing Documents to route and approve some documents.
