What's New in Flame FX

    Flame FX

    All of the following tools are available in Batch and on the Desktop in the new Flame FX menu.

     

    2D Transform

    The 2D Transform tool features basic axis transformation controls and camera shake effects which can be applied on a front and matte inputs simultaneously.

    Auto Stabilize

    Previously available only in Batch. Use Auto Stabilize to analyze the movement in a clip and remove camera instability.

    Blend & Comp

    The Blend & Comp tool is designed for basic compositing between two inputs (and their mattes) over a background. For example, you can use the Blend & Comp tool to blend CG linear render passes.

    Bump Displace

    Use the Bump Displace tool to create displacement-like emboss effects using a light and surface bumps.

    Damage

    Damage contains a variety of controls that reproduce artefacts and damage effects in different media, such as film or television.

    Deform

    The Deform tool features a range of GPU accelerated 2D warping effects, including waves, ripples, and magnification.

    Denoise

    Use Denoise to remove or reduce noise and grain from source media.

    Depth of Field

    Use z-depth information to estimate and create depth-of-field (DOF) effects.

    Edge Detect

    Edge Detect is an interactive edge extraction tool capable of working in various colour spaces for a range of artistic effects.

    Map Convert

    Map Convert is a technical tool that provides conversion transforms for IBL and environment maps. Supported map types include Cartesian, polar, angular, and cubic.

    Pixel Spread

    Use Pixel Spread to create a stretching effect from any image edges delimited by a matte.

    Stereo

    Use Stereo to process an anaglyph, interlaced or dual image clip containing one video track from two mono clips or an existing stereo track.
