Since the SPACEBAR key is used to Play/Stop when working with the FCP user profile in Smoke, the keyboard shortcuts that are using SPACE are problematic.
Here is a cool workaround:
With any key combination that includes SPACE always press the other key before pressing SPACE.
Examples:
Triptych view toggle on timeline: ESC+SPACE.
Orbit mode in Action: O+SPACE.
A tip to pan: The shortcut to pan is SPACE which of course conflicts with play. Press CTRL+SPACE (zoom mode) then release CRTL while keeping SPACE to pan.
