No headersDesign Review enables you to rename, delete, export, and import custom symbol catalogs. Export your custom symbols as a symbol catalog file enables you to place the symbol catalog file in a central location or distribute it by email. Team members and clients can then import the symbol catalog file, ensuring that they have symbols identical to your own.
NoteYou cannot remove an individual symbol directly from a catalog. You can only delete an entire symbol catalog. To modify an existing symbol catalog, make a different selection or open an a modified DWF file and recreate the catalog using the same catalog name to overwrite the existing catalog.
To rename a symbol catalog
- Click tab
panel drop-down. 
- Click .
The dialog box opens.
- From the list, select the symbol catalog to be renamed.
- Click .
The previous catalog name is highlighted.
- Type a new name and press to change the name.
TipDespite the order shown in the list, the catalogs are listed alphanumerically on the drop-down. Rename symbol catalogs to achieve the desired list order.
- Click tab panel drop-down.
- Click .
The dialog box opens.
- From the list, select the symbol catalog or catalogs to be deleted.
- Click .
- When prompted, "Are you sure you want to remove the selected catalogs?", click .
The symbol catalog is removed from the list.
To export a symbol catalog
- Click tab panel drop-down.
- Click .
The dialog box opens.
- From the list, select the symbol catalog to be exported.
- Click .
The dialog box opens.
- Optional: Navigate to the location where you want to store a copy of the symbol catalog file.
- Optional: In the text box, type the name of the file.
- Click .
To import a symbol catalog
- Click tab panel drop-down.
- Click .
The dialog box opens.
- From the list, select the symbol catalog to be imported.
- Click .
The dialog box opens.
- Navigate to where the symbol catalog you want to import is stored.
- Select the symbol catalog file and click .
The imported symbol catalog is displayed in the list.
