Before you start Flame to perform archiving, edit the following keywords according to the software initialization configuration file. See the Autodesk Visual Effects and Finishing Configuration File Reference Guide.
The software initialization configuration file is located here: /usr/discreet/Flame_VERSION/cfg/init.cfg.
The CLIPMGTDEVICE keyword section defines the type of archive device available from Flame. Enable VTR, data tape, or file archive devices by setting that keyword.
For a VTR archive, also enable, in the VTR keyword section, each VTR that you plan to use. You must also set the following keywords in the software initialization configuration file:
