You load three clips into the Keyer to create a composite: a front clip, a back clip, and a key-in clip. The key-in clip, which is usually the same as the front clip, is used to create the matte for the front clip.

You can also access the Keyer in Action and as a node in Batch and the Modular Keyer. See Keyer Node and Accessing the Colour Corrector and the Keyer from Action.

    To access the Keyer module:

    1. In the Main menu, click Effects, and then Keyer.
    2. Select the front, back, and key-in clips. Make sure the front, back, and matte clips are the same resolution. If not, resize them. See Accessing Resize and Resize Settings.
TipUse the S option on the Keyer button on the Desktop to automatically load the same clips used in the previous session. Click the S option, and then select the destination.
    3. Select the destination.

      The Keyer appears.
