The application installer is able to autodetect which hardware is available and setup the configuration files accordingly.
Mellanox FDR cards do not support communication over SDP. When communicating with older Infiniband cards (QDR, DDR), the Mellanox FDR card uses IP over IB. As a result, you might experience a decrease in performance when FDR cards are in communication with older Infiniband cards.
