Infrastructure Administrator Guide

Autodesk Infrastructure Administrator 2013 is the configuration module that you use to set up and manage projects and industry models. You can use Infrastructure Administrator to do any of the following:

• Set up a new Oracle-based enterprise industry model
• Set up a new SQL Server-based enterprise industry model
• Set up a new file-based industry model
• Update an enterprise industry model from a previous version of Infrastructure Map Server
• Configure an industry model (enterprise or file-based)
• Set up Infrastructure Application Extension

You can work with either a file-based industry model or an enterprise industry model. An enterprise industry model is a specialized Oracle or SQL Server database, while a file-based industry model uses SQLite for its database and is stored in a DWG file. The instructions in this guide assume that you have properly installed and licensed Infrastructure Map Server. For more information, see the Installation Guide.
