How to add your knowledge

Build a Model

    Table of contents
    No headers

Create a model and bring in base data.

Start by creating your three-dimensional model — the base model for all work you perform. It should reflect the area of interest as it is now, before you add any conceptual content.

Create and name the model, and then import your data. When you first import your data, you map one property from your original data to its equivalent Rule Style property. Each value in that property can display a different style. However, most of the time, you have to specify which style each value will display. You do that by defining style rules. You define one rule for each value.

You may also want to change the default unit of measurement for this model, and set the level of detail displayed from various distances. Use Options to make these changes.

Then you can select, highlight, and view your model.
