Sketching allows you to explore concepts in the model.
Sketch items to see how your design ideas fit into the area you are modeling. Add features to your model such as roads, rail lines, buildings, bodies of water, landscaped regions, coverage areas, and city furniture.
The sketching tools can be used when creating proposals, or to add features to a model.
The first time you add a feature, you specify a style from the dialog box. When you add another feature of the same type, it uses the same style by default, but you can change it.
You can undo almost any change in a proposal or model that you made in the current session. See Interact with the Model.
You can also return to the state of your original data by regenerating. This refreshes the model with up-to-date data from the original data sources. Regenerating overrides any changes you made. For more information, see Regenerate From Original Data Sources.
