  about installation problems-- I'm tired and more than a little cranky. I'm 67 yrs old and not a happy lady.
  While not new to cad design systems (catia v4 & v5, pdgs, and a couple of others) over the space of 40 years,
  I'm trying to set up Inventor Pro for my friend to try to get trained on. The problem I'm trying to resolve is
  when I pick the icon to launch Inv/Pro I get an error message "the application is unable to launch-
  error 0xc0000142" yada yada. Considering the fact that I have spent a total of approx. 2 weeks just
  getting the program onto my computer, I would like not to have to uninstall/reinstall yet once again.
  The only module that failed to load up properly was the main Inventor mechanical design package. Is there anyone who would be able to clue me as to the proper next step? Obviously I am so new to Autocad that
  I don't even know what I don't know. Thank you

  Have you contacted your reseller? They should always be your first point of contact if you experience difficulties installing or configuring your Autodesk product. In the unlikely event that they are unable to help you, please contact Autodesk Product Support.

I have followed instructions from beginning to end. Can someone please help me load this in my computer.

  My name is Joshua and I just downloaded this software so I could actually do my homework at home. I waited 6hrs for it to install. However, when I active the program everything looks like it downloaded ok. But there are no templates listed when I select NEW. I am getting so far behind in class. Can anyone please give me some answers or advice?

  Actually I just went to add/remove programs on my laptop, selected the software and chose repair. It was reallt easy and fast.
