Robert.ReidWed May 4, 2011 6:54 amYou can't even print 1 simple document containing all the "What's New" I have to go thru, and print each seperate section??? THUMBS DOWN!!!!!
claudwWed May 4, 2011 1:47 pmHello Robert,
Thank you so much for your comment. Your point is well-taken. My team is in the process of publishing a PDF of Inventor What's New for 2012. We will attach it to this page as soon as it's ready. Since there are several animations in the WikiHelp What's New, we need to make some adjustments. Thank you again for your feedback.

claudwMon May 9, 2011 2:44 pmHello,
A great place to get recommended readings is the Autodesk Inventor Discussion group. Thank you for your posting. http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/Autodesk-Inventor/bd-p/78
claudwMon May 9, 2011 2:45 pmThanks to maartenm79 for reminding us about paperwaste. We posted a PDF because it's very nice to have one document that contains all the What's New items. It provides a single way to move the content around.

dcovel@westernintech.comWed Jun 1, 2011 2:03 pmFYI, the link to the PDF doesn't work in Firefox 3.6.17, nor do the "Attach Files" or "Actions" controls.
claudwWed Jun 1, 2011 4:01 pmThank you to dcovel for reporting this issue. I will send it to our technical team colleagues and let everyone know when we have a fix.
Regards,
Claudia Wood, Autodesk Manufacturing Learning Experience Manager
DavidDehrkoop1103Wed Jun 15, 2011 7:28 amYeah, this still isn't working. Would be nice to have.
pvl@jhstaal.dkThu Jun 16, 2011 12:24 amHello,
Why, oh why do some of you have to be so rude?
Instead of giving a one-liner comment w/o a solution, why not just ask nicely?
And if things are so nice to have, why not install a web browser that can, instead of complaining about it like a bunch of spoiled brats?
But maybe that's just me and I'm too old-fashioned...
Thanks to Claudia and A. Rutherford, keep up the good work!
Regards, Paul van Lieshout, Denmark

whunterSun Sep 11, 2011 11:05 pmCan I suggest that an Autodesk Wiki moderator deletes all the comments if they're not relevant any more, especially the rants in the beginning of this thread?
Then one doesn't have to read through all the negative crap before one gets to a solution/answer. It spoil ones mood...
driftwoodSat Dec 10, 2011 2:53 pmYes, Paul & "Whunter", I agree TOTALLY!!!
And, while I realize that this is "off-topic", as "W" points out, it is actually relevant in that we are all here for the same purpose; to accomplish a task/goal. And, while the poor attitudes of some members might not directly interfere with that purpose, it certainly affects the overall atmosphere of this forum as well as our collective disposition.
Actually, I have my own list of suppositions as to why some of these "one-line wonders" seem to be such miserable people and why they apparently enjoy being condescending and rude to others. However, I don't feel that it would be any more appropriate for me to express my thoughts as to their obviously impaired ability to successfully create more than one string of characters nor would it be constructive if I were to express my beliefs regarding the "wonderful" influence that innovations in communication such as texting has/have had on the degradation of their abilities to communicate in the written form. Suffice to say that this is a professional forum and professionalism, in all aspects of participation, would be greatly appreciated by other forum members, of course.
Much more importantly though, and whether you regard the opinions of your online colleagues or your workplace colleagues to be important to you, consider that the good people at Autodesk that work very hard to provide a consistently reliable and robust family of products for your benefit, without which, you would likely not be able to produce a set of working documents that would reflect a level of quality even as "impressive" as that which you have demonstrated with regard to your written communication skills. Undoubtedly, you receive the benefit of their hard work and consideration on a regular basis through your use of the Autodesk family of products. And, while I don't like to "tell" others what they should/should not do, let me just suggest that it might behoove you to consider where you might be if the attitudes of the people engaged in reading your comments and improving the functionality of these tools that we all value so greatly were not dissimilar to your own. Sobering, isn't it?
Chances are that (assuming, of course, that you complete your curriculum and, assuming that your father is as effective in helping you to procure an actual job by continuing to exert whatever influence he possesses that has obviously played a role in your arrival at this point in life), if you are successful in procuring a job, even an entry-level position within a professional practice firm, as you begin to interact with your superiors and/or your clients, you will likely realize that it is certainly not a requirement that people treat one another with mutual respect. But I believe that you will also find that it is definitely a concept that you will grow to appreciate more and more. And, after you have had the opportunity to "grow" in your new environment through finding yourself on the receiving-end of the arrogance and rudeness that you seem to be so fond of, you might even develop something called "empathy" (you can right-click to look-up it's meaning-but don't worry, it's not a disease, or anything like that).
In any case, to all of the Autodesk employees that have worked so hard to enrich my life over the past 25 years, I would like to extend a big "Thank You!!!". And I, for one, along with "Paul" and "Whunter", would certainly like to express how thankful I am for all of your hard work but ALSO for your consistently professional, caring and sincerely concerned attitudes toward your work and toward the users of Autodesk products across the globe! And to everyone in this forum, I apologize for the length and the content of this post but I felt compelled as this is an ever-worsening problem online and elsewhere...
