No headersSheet format defines the sheet size and elements on the sheet. The default sheet format is A3 with a border, title block, and three extensions for more information. The Sheet Format dialog box provides you with the ability to change sheet size and add, change, or remove elements on the sheet.
When you add a new sheet, it appears with the same format as the active sheet. Each sheet in a drawing can have different formats.
Title Block Extensions
Extensions are additional title blocks that contain more information about the drawing or specific parts in the drawing.
- Extension 1 contains information about the inventory numbers and includes spaces for signature and date information.
- Extensions 2 and 3 contain sketched symbol and part number information. Extension 3 is automatically repositioned when you select Portrait sheet orientation.
Procedures
Change the sheet format
Change the sheet format by selecting a new sheet size, orientation, or by adding or removing elements.

 . The Sheet Format dialog box appears. - In the Sheet section, you can do the following:
- In the Name field, change the drawing sheet name.
- In the Size field, select a sheet size or create a custom sheet. The Height and Width fields are disabled unless you select a custom sheet size. Paper size A3 is the default.
- In the Multiplier field, select a multiplier if needed.
- In the Orientation section, choose either Portrait orientation (long side vertical) or Landscape orientation (long side horizontal). Landscape is the default.
- In the Zone section, you can do the following:
- Click the check box beside Show zones to add the zones to the drawing sheet.
- Change the zone enumeration by adding a new letter or number in the first field and a new number in the second field. You can change one or both fields.
- In the Title Block section, select a new title block form and add or remove extensions.
- Click OK to accept the changes and close the dialog box.

Create a custom size drawing sheet

 . The Sheet Format dialog box appears. - In the Sheet section, Size field, click the down arrow to display a list of sheet sizes.
- Choose Custom from the list of sheet sizes. The Height and Width fields are enabled and the Multiplier field is disabled.
- In the Height field, type the height in millimeters.
- In the Width field, type the width in millimeters.
- Click OK to change the drawing sheet size.

Create new sheet with required title extensions

 . The Sheet Format dialog box appears. - Set the appropriate options to add or remove title block extensions.
- Click OK to accept the changes and close the dialog box.
