Velocity and pressure switch over at percent volume

    Table of contents

    Indicates what percentage of the cavity is filled before the molding machine switches from velocity control to pressure control.

    NoteThe switch-over point generally occurs when approximately 99% of the volume is filled. Switch-over can occur earlier due to a short shot or material compressibility.
