Shrinkage Molding Summary

    Table of contents
    No headers

    Displays the measured in plane shrinkage, parallel and perpendicular to the flow direction, under a range of injection molding conditions.

    If the material is shrink tested, this summary lists the following parameters:

    Tmelt

    Temperature of the melt.

    Tmold

    Temperature of the mold.

    FlowRateR

    Flow rate based of the movement of the ram.

    FlowRateF

    Flow rate based on the filling of the cavity.

    RamDiam

    Diameter of the injection molding machine ram.

    RamInit

    Stroke length of the ram.

    Thick

    Part thickness.

    HoldP

    Holding pressure.

    HoldT

    Holding time.

    CoolT

    Cooling time.

    ParaShrink

    Shrinkage parallel to the flow direction.

    PerpShrink

    Shrinkage perpendicular to the flow direction.

    These results are the basis for the Observed shrinkage results.
