Also appear as silver streaks.

Causes of white streak marks are:

Moisture: Streaking occurs opposite the flow direction due to a high residual moisture content. Drying the material properly removes this defect.
Air: Air is trapped and cannot escape while the mold is filling. The air is drawn to the surface and stretched in the direction of the flow causing streak marks.
