Adjust the Leader Arrowhead

    Table of contents

    Now that the balloon is in a better position, you will move the leader arrowhead to a position closer to the balloon.

    1. Move your cursor over the end-most edit handle located at the arrowhead point of the leader from balloon 1.
    2. When the move symbol appears next to the cursor, click and drag the location of the arrowhead point to the corner of the base closest to the balloon.
    3. When the lines representing the bottom and side of the base highlight and the connection point icon appears next to your cursor, release your mouse button to select the new position for the arrowhead point.

    Next, you will place a few example notes.

    • bradleydawsonSun Nov 25, 2012 12:25 pmWhen I move the arrowhead, the arrowhead style changes to closed dot which is used for the alternate leader style. Since I did not know what that was, I wondered why the arrowhead style would change. It might help to explain that the arrowhead will remain if it is still on the associative edge and will change if placed elsewhere. A link to how to change the alternate leader style would be useful for those who want to disable this behavior.
