    To create a shaft, you complete the following steps:

    • Start the Shaft Component Generator.
    • Add and remove sections to the designed shaft.
    • Set parameters of shaft sections.
    • Add shaft features.
    • Specify supports, force, and moment.
    • Edit the shaft using Design Accelerator.
    NoteIn this tutorial, you will insert components from the Content Center. Make sure that you have Content Center installed before you start designing the shaft.
