You can uninstall language packs without uninstalling the main product. But the default language that was installed with the product cannot be separately uninstalled.
You can uninstall language packs in the same way that you uninstall products. Go to the Windows Control Panel where products are listed, and click the language pack that you want to uninstall.

If you see a Quick Uninstall Tool for your product or suite, you can use it to uninstall multiple language packs and other components.

If you uninstall a product that has language packs, you are presented with an option to uninstall all the related language packs. It makes sense to leave the language packs in place if you plan to reinstall the product later.
