Skeletal modeling is an efficient and versatile technique for building assemblies with Autodesk Inventor software. The application of this technique is limited only by your imagination. The lack of assembly constraints and absence of adaptive relationships can improve the performance and robustness of assembly updates. Setting up a skeleton or master model takes some planning, but the ability to control an assembly easily from a single source can be worth the effort.
