Application Icon Images

Specifies the images to use for the Application button. To specify a .bmp, double-click the image in the dialog box you want to set.

Image format: Each image requires a separate .bmp file.

Image size: The Application button can be large (41x41 pixels) or small (41x24 pixels). The small button displays when the ribbon is undocked.

Each size requires three images:

Default Reflects appearance when no interaction is in process.
HoverReflects appearance when you pause the cursor over the button.
Down Reflects appearance when you press the button.

File System Icon

Specifies the system icon to apply to the executable file. Specifies the icon to display on the desktop, Windows Explorer, the task bar, and when you use ALT+Tab to select a running process.

Image format for system icon files: .ico

Use the App.ico file provided in the "\Inventor OEM 2012\bin" folder to note the image sizes and color depths that Windows expects in this icon. Then replace the images with your images of the same size and color depth. With Visual Studio, you can view the images, but you cannot edit them. Use an icon editor to edit the 32-bit color depth images.

NoteAn .ico file packages several bitmaps of various resolutions and color depths within a single file.

On the Start menu, in All Programs, click Autodesk=>Autodesk Inventor ETO Components 2012=>OEM Configurator=>Icons
ThilaknathRaoMon Apr 16, 2012 5:44 pmThe "File System Icon" should be marked as *required or the default path should be populated in the text box "C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Inventor OEM 2012\bin\App.ico". An empty textbox errors out during compilation.
