Table of contents
No headers The Application Documentation Page allows the user to specify various files to be displayed to the user during the install process. The setup supports plain text files along with the Rich Text Format (RTF). If any of these fields are left blank, the user will not be presented with the corresponding page. For example, if no readme file is specified, then the user will not have the option to view the readme file at the end of installation.
- User License Agreement file - The license agreement file is the first screen the user will be presented with. This page also forces the user to accept the license agreement before continuing. This field is required.
- Information file shown before installation - This file will display to the user immediately after the license agreement. You can use it for whatever purpose you wish and no agree buttons are required. One possibility is to use this screen to tell the user about important instructions they should know before starting the install. This field is optional.
- Information file shown after installation - This file will display to the user after the install is complete but before the final wizard page. You can use it for whatever purpose you wish and no agree buttons are required. This field is optional.
- Read me file - Unlike the other fields on this page, the readme file will not display inline during the install. Instead, the very last install page will contain a checkbox allowing the user to view the readme file after the installer exits.
