No headersOn the Component Settings page of the Adoption Wizard, you can specify the name of the Intent design and select a parent design from the libraries in the active project. You can also specify which parameters you choose to adopt into the Intent design.
NoteParameters that are automatically-named in Inventor (d1, d2, etc.) are not adopted into Intent by default. To adopt an automatically-named parameter, you must select it in the Adopt? column.
NoteInventor parameters that have expressions are not adopted into Intent by default. To adopt an automatically-named parameter, you must select it in the Adopt? column. Selecting a parameter with an expression adopts the current value of the expression, not the expression itself, which may result in undesired behavior in part instances.
| Intent Design | Optionally specify the design name; defaults to the part or assembly file name. |
| Parent Design | Click the ellipsis button to display the Select Parent Design dialog box. |
| Adopt? | When selected, this option identifies the parameters that will be adopted by Intent. Named parameters expressions are selected by default. |
