Datum Identifier

No headers

Datum identifiers can be attached perpendicularly to visible lines, center lines, or dimension lines.

Procedures

Add a datum identifier to the drawing

On the ribbon, click Annotate (ESKD) tabSymbols panelDatum Identifier. A plus (+) sign and a box appear beside the cursor.
To place the symbol, click the location or the object on the drawing where you want to start the leader.
Move the cursor to a different location and click again. The Datum Identifier dialog box appears and a symbol is displayed with a leader line to the target location.

Edit Datum Identifier Symbol

In the browser, expand the Sketched Symbols node to display a list of symbols.
Right-click the Datum Identifier symbol you want to edit, and select Edit Datum Identifier Symbol.

NoteIn drawing double-click the symbol to launch the dialog box, or by right-click to display a context menu and select the edit option.

Delete Datum Identifier Symbol

NoteIn drawing by click the symbol to highlight it, and press the Delete key on the keyboard.
