Autodesk provides a variety of online services, such as Wiki Help, Document storage, Rendering, Autodesk Labs, and so on. Online service access is being made an integral part of the product or suite experience. The following service is available from within the Autodesk Inventor LTproduct.
You can store design documents, libraries, and design data online for accessing from a different site or by those with whom you collaborate. The Save & Send process is similar to Pack and Go, except more automated.
The online tools are available from three locations:
The source file is the active document. The destination is automatically created using the document name as a folder name. If the name already exists a new version of the files are created. The active project file provides the paths to the referenced files. You have the option to create DWF files along with the upload of your project data.
Libraries and linked files are considered required documents for the process. There is not an option to exclude these files. Not all included files support DWF output. Those that do not support DWF are automatically set to No. All other files default to Yes.
Design data and templates do not necessarily have to be retained for the success of this process. These are set to be excluded by default. You have the option to include the files.
Multi-select is supported. The selected value is applied to all selected objects in the dialog box.
To store the current document online, do the following:
Specify the content, associated with the current document, that will be saved online.

There are multiple sets of information and documents that may be included in a document save action. Included are:
| Documents | Includes the open document and all required dependencies. You can opt to create DWF files for each or not. |
| Libraries & Linked Files | Includes Content Center, Materials, Appearances, Textures and linked files such as Excel spreadsheets. |
| Design Data & Templates | Includes associated styles and templates, and relative data in the Design Data folder. |
