Process Overview for Storm

Below is a list of operations you can perform when working with Storm and the corresponding procedures.

1. To install the Storm add-in, see Installation Instructions.
2. To start Storm, open a Revit project and use the procedure for performing the analysis. See Performing the Analysis.
3. To view results, you can either:
   • Display maps and diagrams in a Revit project. See Visualization of Storm Results in Revit
   • Open an analysis report on the website. See Viewing Reports on the Website.
4. To manage projects, use the Storm website. See Storm Website.

   The website lets you manage projects even when Revit and Storm are not installed on your computer. You can check the status of an analysis, see a report and submit a new analysis, but only for a project you have already uploaded.
