Keytips provide a way to access the application menu, the Quick Access toolbar, and the ribbon using the keyboard. To display keytips, press Alt.
You can use keytips to navigate through the ribbon. Type the keytip for a ribbon tab to bring that tab into focus and to display the keytips for its buttons and controls. If a ribbon tab has an expanded panel containing additional tools, type its keytip to display the panel and see keytips for those tools.
To hide keytips, press ESC.

- Instructions say press ALT to display keytips. I did and nothing happened
- When you press ALT, keytips display over their corresponding tools in the user interface. (See the image added above.) Then type the indicated letter, number, or key sequence to go to that part of the user interface, or to start a tool. For example, the above image shows that A is the keytip for the Annotate tab. When you type A, the Annotate tab displays, showing keytips for individual annotation tools. On that tab, you can type DL to start the Linear Dimension tool. Press ESC to exit keytip mode.
If keytips do not display as shown above when you press ALT, please contact Support for assistance.
