Moving Circuits

You can rearrange circuits/spares/spaces on the panel by moving them up, down, or across to the opposite column.

Open a panel schedule.
Select a circuit.
Click Modify Panel Schedule tabCircuits panel, and select one of the Move commands: Move Up, Move Down, or Move Across.
The Move Across command moves the circuit to the same row on the opposite side of the panel. This command is only available when the circuit can physically be moved directly across to the opposite-facing slot (phase). This command is also unavailable in single-column branch panel templates, and in switchboard and data panel templates.
NoteThe Move commands are unavailable, when the maximum number of poles is reached on a panel. For example, if there are 21 poles assigned to the breaker, and 42 are specified in the template, these commands are unavailable for poles 22-42.

lwcooperThu Nov 17, 2011 8:46 amIt appears there is no easy way to change the circuit number in the Panel Schedule other than moving the circuit within the schedule itself. It would be nice to be able to assign a circuit number within the Properties Tab, and assign the circuit number within the Edit Circuit Tab.
karen.smithThu Nov 17, 2011 10:01 amHi - Yes, you're correct. Because the circuit number is based on its position within the panel schedule, the only way to renumber the circuit is to move it.
