Dividing Closed Paths

Closed paths are divided similarly to open paths.

1. Sketch a closed path.
2. In the drawing area, select the path to be divided. If the path is a form edge, press the Ctrl key to select both sides of a circle, or each side of a polygon.

3. Click Modify | Lines tab Divide Panel Divide Path.

Dividing Sides of Closed Loops

1. Hover over a non-circular closed path side or edge of a form.
2. Press Tab to highlight the line or edge and select it.
3. Click Modify | Lines tab Divide Panel Divide Path.
   

NoteIt is possible to subdivide a segment of a previously divided closed loop.
