Modify stair, run, landing, and support components.
When you create a stair by components, you can modify the individual components of the stair, including the runs, landings, and supports. You can also make modifications to the entire stair, like changing the stair type or changing the location. In a component-based stair, modifications to one component may directly affect other components in the stair to maintain the design intent and integrity of the stair assembly.
There are several ways to modify a stair:
Change stair component instance and type properties.
Change common stair dimensions like the actual run width or floor-to-floor height.
Modify stair components using common editing tools, such as Move, Rotate, Copy, and Align.
Modify stair component shape and location by dragging controls.
How changes made to stair components affect other components in a stair assembly.
Flip the stair direction without changing the layout.
Create a custom sketch from a stair component.
