Removing Area Reinforcement System

    NoteThis tool is only available when hosting rebar in area reinforcement. See Modifying Reinforcement Settings.

    You can remove an area reinforcement system from a project and leave rebar or rebar sets in place.

    1. Select the area reinforcement system.
    2. Click Modify | Structural Area Reinforcement tab Area Reinforcement panel Remove Area System.

    The area reinforcement system with any symbols and tags is removed from the project leaving rebar and rebar sets in place.

    • AJA14Sun Nov 11, 2012 11:01 amWith regards to the area reinforcement boundary in revit 2013, you cannot turn it off. You can turn off the boundary of the area reinforcement, and this was not a problem in revit structure 2012. Am I missing something or is this a bug. The updates did not solve this issue. Please help is needed urgently with this issue.
    • KDolleyMon Nov 12, 2012 5:42 amHello, as I suggested in your other comment, that sounds like an odd video bug you are experiencing. I've experimented with it this morning and the area reinforcement boundary is only showing up when it is selected. When deselected, the boundary disappears. I would try contacting customer support. Sorry I can't be of further assistance.
