No headers- Select a permanent dimension.
- Right-click the blue circle control in the middle of the witness line, and click Move Witness Line.
- Drag the witness line to the element to be referenced.
Note: Left-click the witness line control to change the reference point for that element. For example, for a wall, left-clicking the control toggles the reference point among the centerline, the interior face, and the exterior face of the wall.

- 1. Revit 2013 uses blue circles now, image should be updated.
2. I don't recall seeing any documentation when you left click on the "witness line control" circle. This will change what it's referencing for that element. In the case of the wall it will toggle between the centerline, interior face and exterior face of the wall. - cheinaranta - Thank you for your feedback!
