System Requirements

To run Autodesk Revit GlobeLink, besides the common requirements for your system such as the hardware and operating system, you need the following:

• Revit Architecture, Revit Structure, or Revit MEP.
• Microsoft .NET Framework version 2.0.
• Google Earth version 4. The free, Plus, or Professional version may be used.

  If you are running a newer version of Google Earth, you must edit GEVersions.dat, located in the program files folder for Autodesk Revit GlobeLink. GEVersions.dat lists the GUIDs of all Google Earth versions compatible with this version of Autodesk Revit GlobeLink. Follow the instructions in the file to add the GUID for a newer version of Google Earth.

  NoteIf you are using Windows 7/Vista, you must have administrative privileges in order to edit and save GEVersions.dat.

  NoteThe last version tested for compatibility was Google Earth 6.0.1.2032 (Beta).
